So LG and Samsung, when are you going OLED?

When we asked Sony the same question, the answer came back loud and clear: not before 2012.

According to a report at Asian technology website Tech-On, both Samsung and LG are also working on the technology, but have yet to give an estimated release date.

For the time being, then, we'll still have to make do with this 19'' prototype.

Hands on test of Google smartphone, HTC G1

American site MobileBurn.com have already got their hands on a HTC G1, the first smartphone to be powered by Google's Android OS.

Their full report runs to a stonking seven pages of photos and videos.

Amongst their key conclusions, their tester doesn't rate the keyboard, even if the multi-touch screen is very impressive:

Particularly interesting is the penultimate page, where they go through the G1's strengths and weaknesses (and yes, there are some weaknesses), but their selection of photos taken using its built-in camera are useful too.
