With a PC
A veritable giant monitor, this television perfectly displays an image in 1920x1080 produced by a PC in HDMI. You will just have to take the time to activate the native mode by using the remote’s ''aspect'' button.
We then have a fine computer monitor with low afterglow; however, you will still need a high performance graphic card to take advantage of the best 3D games.

This television is the 32’’ version of the 37’’ which we tested: the Viera TX-37LZD85F.
Characteristics, the panel and circuitry are identical and only brightness may vary slightly which minimally affects contrast. According to manufacturers (and our tests confirm), results from one diagonal size can easily be extrapolated to identical models of bigger or smaller sizes.

-
Efficient dynamic contrast mode
-
Very good rescaling of standard definition sources
-
Low afterglow
-
No HD compatible digital tuner
-
24p mode doesn’t improve the fluidity of all sources
-
Contrast is barely enough if we deactivate the dynamic mode

It suffers from the same defect as its big brother: the absence of an HD compatible digital tuner.
