This television is the 32 inch version of the 42 inch 42LT75 which we ran through our usual battery of tests.  Like its bigger brother, it has a 160 GB hard drive which enables recording up to 86h of programming (depending on the speed of the channel).

If tests revealed particularly good behavior of this television in color fidelity (except blacks that are slightly washed out),  we also noticed a weakness in the rescaling of DVDs.  It’s therefore better when possible (in other words with more recent players and with the product manual in hand), to set your DVD player to do the rescaling in 720p.

However, while defects are particularly visible on a 42’’ diagonal, they fortunately will be less noticeable on this smaller model. So this product ends up offering extremely attractive quality/functions (integrated hard drive)/ price ratio!

Characteristics, the panel and circuitry are identical and only brightness may vary slightly which minimally affects contrast.  According to our tests and manufacturers, results from one diagonal size can easily be extrapolated to identical models of bigger or smaller sizes.
