The iMac like the Macbook Pro only has a digital connection and this in mini DVI. Equipped with an adequate cable and in dual screen with the iMac we tested the Samsung and ViewSonic on preset adjustments only in DVI. In VGA it didn’t work.
As usual, there was a (very) slight blue dominance on the 2232BW and somewhat reddish rendering on the VP930.
After installation of the profiles:

- average dE > 3: visible differences which can sometimes be problematic
- average dE < 3: good color fidelity and can be considered satisfactory.
- average dE < 2: excellent and good for touching up photos.
- average dE < 1: we can safely say that the human eye won’t detect the slight differences.
In this last example there were no bad surprises. The correction is once again efficient and very good. The starting color dominances were erased and calibration was truly useful. The only thing left to do is adjust brightness as the profile will not do this for you.
