Panasonic presents this memory card as a « Pro » model with announced speeds of up to 20 MB/s. On paper, this is very interesting and it appears the to be a direct rival to the ATP ProMax, the current leader in our survey.
Excellent results
And it’s confirmed. This card can indeed compete with the ATP ProMax. In reading, the two are equivalent with results within a tenth of a MB/s of each other. On the other hand, Panasonic doesn’t manage to do as well in writing. This Class 6 still rises above the rest of the pack with a speed of 9.6 MB/s, however, the ATP obtained 12.2 MB/s. In the reflex test, performance is also very good with a sustained speed of 3 images/second, or the maximum our Nikon D40x can produce. For this reason, there was no slowing down in our burst mode, as is the case in the tenth shot with the A-Data Super SDHC 4 Go Class 2.
Finally, a little bonus is the storage case with a rather nice design.

- Excellent performance
- Designer storage case
- High price

This card is very fast. While it doesn’t surpass the ATP ProMax, this Panasonic has the advantage of being distributed in France.
